Fw: [Asrg] SHEESH!

can we get rid of this crap? I can understand filters on incoming
email to get rid of executable content, but filters that try to get rid
of "drugs and narcotics" language are really misguided. I don't think
it's appropriate to impose such filters on IETF mailing lists.

I guess I shouldn't have used the V-word when talking about spam on
the IRTF's mailing list about spam.

sheesh!--talk about utterly lame and misguided spam filters.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all it is the leaders
of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple
matter to drag the people along. All you have to do is tell them they
are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism
and exposing the country to danger... It works the same way in any
country."

- Hermann Goering, Nuremburg, 1947.
