LDUP was indeed formed as a WG late in 1998. No issue here at all
with including the year as you indicate below.

I'm all in favour of finishing what can be finished and moving on, which

since this is a recharter, and our tools for seeing the history of WGs
aren't that hot, I would like to have the year attached to "originally" -
as in "was originally (1998) chartered to..."
despite having been AD for the WG when started, I don't remember the year...
