         Standard 

The IESG has approved the Internet-Drafts 'Definitions of Textual 
Conventions for Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Management' 
<draft-ietf-mpls-tc-mib-09.txt> as a Proposed Standard, and 'Multiprotocol 
Label Switching (MPLS) Management Overview' 
<draft-ietf-mpls-mgmt-overview-08.txt> as an Informational RFC. These 
documents are products of the Multiprotocol Label Switching Working Group. 

The IESG contact persons are Alex Zinin and Bert Wijnen.

Technical Summary
 
 The documents describe a MIB module with Textual Conventions to represent
 commonly used MPLS management information that would be used in other MPLS
 related MIB modules, as well as the management architecture for MPLS
 that indicates the inter-relationships between the different MIB modules 
 used for MPLS network management.
 
Working Group Summary
 
 There was a WG consensus to advance these documents

 The documents have been reviewed for the IESG by Bert Wijnen
