RIPE Region Hostcount for August 2003

Dear All,
below is the hostcount for August 2003.
The table shows an decrease since last month of around 350,000 (or 1,7%)
to a total of around 20,230,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and
surrounding areas.
The pt domain shows the highest increase for August with more than
81,000 hosts more than in July.

- Brief Notes on this Hostcount -
- the February, 2003 data was used for dk due to their having a
corrupted count this month.
- the May, 2003 data was used for ru due to problems with the remote
collection.
- last month's data was used for be due to problems with the remote
collection.
