RE: draft name in I-Ds: add to ID-nits [Re: draft-ietf-v6ops-ipv4 survey-apps-02.txt (fwd)]

Pekka, we discussed this somewhat in the IESG and what we
found/find is:

- the ID-NITS is what a document needs to take into account when
it gets to AD-review and onto IESG agenda.
- it is NOT anything that we (IESG or ADs or even WG chairs I guess)
check when a doc is submitted to internet-drafts@ietf.org
- The IETF web pages (http://www.ietf.org/ietf/1id-guidelines.txt)
actually contain a ptr to text on ID-submission, which includes text:

All Internet-Drafts should contain the full filename (beginning with
draft- and including the version number) in the text of the document.
The filename information should, at a minimum, appear on the first page
(possibly with the title). Internet-Draft filenames use lowercase
    characters ONLY.

So it seems that all is covered in proper documentation and that the
secretariat just did the right thing to tell you.

Thanks,
Bert
