draft-ietf-mpls-generalized-signaling-05 section 9.1 defines a new
Interface_ID TLV which
allows for specifying Types of:

    IPv4
    IPv6
    IF_INDEX
    COMPONENT_IF_DOWNSTREAM
    COMPONENT_IF_UPSTREAM

Why the inclusion of Components?
Shouldn't components be signaled as per draft-kompella-mpls-bundle-05?
In the presence of bundling is it valid to have an Interface_ID TLV which
specifies
the components? Wouldn't it be redundant?

Having two ways of signaling the same information may simply create problems
with interoperability.
