Hi All,
As per the GMPLS drafts, the IF_ID_RSVP_HOP object will
determine on which incoming interface the label should be allocated.
One LSC interface can support only 1 wavelength. It means that each LSC
interface is assigned an interface Id (un-numbered case) and that
interface Id will be carried in IF_ID_RSVP_HOP object.
One FSC interface can carry multiple wavelengths at the same time but
GMPLS signalling will be transparent to that. A fiberId will be
allocated to each FSC interface and that fiberId will be passed as a
label. The signalling entity in the system has nothing to worry about
the individual wavelengths within the fiber.
Is my understanding correct ?
Please help.
Regards,
manoj.
