Question regarding LSC interface..

Hi All,
   I have one question regarding the allocation of unnumbered component
interface identifiers. In lambda switch capable interfaces, is it that
each wavelength is assigned a unique component  identifiers or the
fiber containing multiple lambda is assigned a component identifier.
   In case the former is true, does not it mean that label is similar
to component interface id.
