RE: Notify Message in GMPLS

Hi Jonathan,
Before deleting the LSP, GMPLS is using path message to
set the admin_staus to down on all the nodes. Instead of using path
message why can't GMPLS use notify message. What is the reason for
transmitting the complete path message ? I think notify message is the
better option.
If Ingress node wants to delete the already establsihed LSP then we can
assume it has to send some notification event to all the nodes in the
path.
The purpose of notify should not be related to error. It should have
some generic purpose i.e. notification of events. In future, u may have
more events where notify message can be useful.

Regards,
manoj.
