Reception of RSVP packets at intermediate node

Hi,

Sorry for posting this question on this mailing list but I'd appreciate any 
help to my question.

Is there a socket option to intercept and receive RSVP protocol messages at 
intermediate node on Sun Solaris [reception of packets not destined to this 
intermediate node]? The pacekts with router alert option are just not being 
intercepted at intermediate node. At intermediate node, when such packet is 
received an ICMP packet is being sent towards upstream node with cause "Bad 
Protocol (46), Destination Unreachable".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
