Folks,

To support unnumbered links the current GMPLS ISIS routing spec
defines new TLV, Link Identifier, to be carried in ISIS Hellos. It
was pointed out that ISIS already has an existing mechanism to
exchange link identifiers - see draft-ietf-isis-3way-05.txt. So,
unless there are specific technical objections, I would suggest we
replace Link Identifier TLV with the mechanism described in
draft-ietf-isis-3way-05.txt
