For your information, I read Jonathan's mail diligently, and answered
it as well as I could (and in a civil fashion).  The point is not to
agree or disagree blindly with everything everyone says, but to reach
some consensus.  Reaching consensus is made much harder if the various
parties approach this task with an attitude.
