Hi Shahram,

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "encode GMPLS messages in 
SONET/SDH overhead."  GMPLS protocol messages are carried in IP packets. 
 There is a standard for carrying IP packets over SONET/SDH DCC 
channels (G.7712) that specifies using either PPP over HDLC-like framing 
or LAP-D.
