All,

We have published a draft to formally close the loop on specifying (within the
IETF) the requirements placed on GMPLS by the ITU's ASON architecture. It is our
hope that this draft will clarify those requirements for the ITU community and
allow us to easily determine whether the requirements have been met. If the
requirements have not been met, we hope the draft will provide a reference point
for moving forward.

We would welcome comments from all, but especially those with a foot in the ITU
camp.

Kireeti, should someone (you?) formally notify the ITU of the existence of this
draft?
