We support waveband switching as described in draft-douville-ccamp-gmpls-waveband-extensions-05.txt, and would like to see waveband switching explicitly added to the charter, if not in the charter at this time.
We believe this work plugs a hole in the GMPLS architecture- in particular the need to recognize waveband switch capable (WBSC) interfaces. We indeed have interfaces that are WBSC and not LSC or FSC.
