Potential editors

Here's the set of people who have indicated so far that they would be
interested in editing a document. Two (marked with *) can't join tomorrow's
call. I'll be sending the call-in info to these people as a separate email
shortly.

Lisa Amini <aminil@us.ibm.com>
Abbie Barbir <abbieb@nortelnetworks.com>
Brad Cain <bcain@mediaone.net>
Troy Davis <troy@nack.net>
Mark Day <markday@cisco.com>
Eric Dean <eric@crystalballinc.com>
Abhi Deshmukh <Abhi.Deshmukh@apogeenet.com>
* Fred Douglis <douglis@research.att.com>
Jay Guha <jayg@apogeenet.com>
Martin May <Martin.May@activia.net>
Phil Rzewski <philr@inktomi.com>
Paul Scanlon <Paul.Scanlon@qwest.com>
Oliver Spatscheck <spatsch@research.att.com>
Michael Speer <michael.speer@eng.sun.com>
Stephen Thomas <stephen.thomas@transnexus.com>
* Gary Tomlinson <gary.tomlinson@entera.com>

In a way, this is a nice situation; we have more potential editors than
documents. (In a way, this is a bad situation -- we have more editors than
documents!) So we'll be talking a little about priorities on the call
tomorrow. I don't think we'll necessarily end the call knowing everything
about how we're organized to move forward, but we should be closer. I hope
that even the people who don't wind up as editors will be able to contribute
as authors or experimenters.

Here's my current understanding of who's interested in which documents,
based on what they told me (note that many people indicated more than one
possibility but almost no-one thinks they can edit more than one document).
Everyone will have a chance to correct/clarify tomorrow, so please don't
worry too much if I mischaracterized your interest.

In addition, the following indicated an interest in editing without
indicating any particular preference: Dean, Rzewski.

And there were two proposed new documents (not in the current proposed
charter):

Content signalling use cases (suggested by Dan Li)
Load feedback mechanisms (suggested by Fred Douglis)
