I had a few specific questions about the AAA draft
that I was hoping somebody could shed some light on:
RE: 5.2.7 Name Space Conventions
I'm confused about why this should even be discussed in
this draft. It seems like naming is an issue that cuts
across all the drafts, and needs to be handled in some
more central document. Has anybody thought about this?
RE: 5.3 Core Works Requirement
Looking over these CDR definitions I couldn't see any way
for identifying duplicate records. These could very easily
happen during system restarts etc. What's the plan?
RE: 5.3.2 Content Injection Work
Will there always be both a "start" and a "complete" record
for all injection and distribution work? This would be nice
property to have. If this were the case, don't you need something
like a UUID as a part of the records, to make it possible to
match a "complete" record to the corresponding "start" record?
If you can't match "start" and "complete" records is there any
point to having both?
RE: 5.3.3 ContentDistribution Work
LONGs will not be long enough for ContentByteSize for measuring
the length of streaming content. I think we want a 64-bit field.
RE: 5.3.6
I don't follow the "editors note". Would the editor be
willing to elaborate?
Thanks,
Brad Chen

I made a few more revisions to the accounting requiremenets doc for
CDN-Internetworking.
Changes were as follows :
- changed scope to overview (added some diagrams to ease readability)
- changed chapters around to aid the flow of reading.
Please review (everybody's review appreciated) to see if it reads well and
achieves the goal.
If u have any showstoppers, this is a good time to let me know (let me know
well ahead of when
u plan to submit all the documents to IETF).
Thanks
Cheers
