You're completely missing the point.

Those who care are those who buy your (or others) stuff and
look for a way to make a profit.

The SP (insert an x in front of SP if it makes you feel warm and
fuzzy) has to worry about how to make money off it. There are
general and specific considerations that go into such business
cases that apply industry wide.

We've done our homework many times over and have yet to find biz
case that does fly for this area of technology based on the
assumptions we discussed in this thread, and which have been
discussed in previous threads on this list. In discussions with
some of our peers, we find that they're observing similiar things
as we are, make similiar decisions for almost the same reasons.

Oh sure, those that made the decisions originally believed
differently when we decided to pour many millions of $ into this
initially.

Well, those variables is what I tried to discuss with you and
others initially. And some of the variables get progressively
worse over time it seems, rather than better.

As such, some technologies lend itself better to it than others.
There's something we could learn from each other here.

You know nothing about me or why I believe what I say, and yet
you have nothing better to do than ridicule me.

Phew.
