No, it won't cause confusion. Feel free. You can take my word as a native
writer of Persian (which uses the Arabic script). I can be proven wrong,
but only by a native writer of Urdu for example, or someone providing good
enough details.

The point I raised about ZWNJ usage, is not that hyphens are bad, just
that ZWNJ may be considered better by many. I like to see both supported.
