  I'm a relative latecomer into the SNMP game; I've only been seriously
interested for about 2 years.  Since the INTEGER -> Integer32 evolution
is only documented in now-obsolete documents, and RFC 2578 only says
that INTEGER and Integer32 are indistinguishable and does not say that
one is preferred, I have to guess about history.

  I'm sorry that it sounded like I thought that using INTEGER was
appropriate; I was trying to express my lack of knowledge since
a) practice seems to diverge from the standard in various ways, and
b) IMHO, the standard is not very clear on this particular point.
