Re: next steps?
Hi,

I said I was going to write up a brief charter for
a one-off BoF (not to be a WG) and solicited some
help. I haven't heard from anyone. So given the lack
of cycles here and my complete lack of time till after
IETF (I won't have time to make to the next meeting) I'll
wait till the following one, unless someone else wants to
take the lead. It's unfortunate because I really wanted
to have this BoF before Thomas leaves, but it looks like
it's not going to happen this time.
While it's still not too late to get the "last minute BoF" with
probably a bad slot, I'm a bit skeptic whether the folks in here have
a sufficient vision on what work is on the table.
- discuss the scenarios framework draft (needs revision) ?
- look at certain scenarios (most important?) in particular?
* presentation of requirements from some operators?
- try to deduct which cases are interesting (now) and which not?
- what is the problem statement for the work?
- figure out where to work on the protocols in the end?
AFAIK, MIPv6 has already taken a document as WG item, so some of these
may already be moot.
In any case, the interest on the list hasn't been all that high
lately, so it's not clear how much use trying to (forcefully) push
something together would even be..
