RE: Where to root MIB modules
Hi Mike,
I'm trying to address issues that exist in reality, not just theory.
In theory, it shouldn't be necessary. How about in reality, given
existing tools?
In theory, the IETF can produce a Proposed Standard mib in about six
months (possibly sooner for things like IEEE 802 technologies where the
IEEE has already specified what the objects should be). If that was the
reality, I wouldn't have any need to make the proposal I'm making.
