Re: MIB Doctor review for: draft-ietf-l3vpn-vr-mib-04.txt

Hi Bert,

This doc is supposed to be informational, would it still need a MIB Dr.
review?

The L3 VPN working group decided to make VR and IPsec architectures
informational (Please see email archives c. May 27, 2004) and I believe that
decision means that this MIB document is informational. However,
I don't see anything in this MIB document which clearly states that it
is informational.

If it needs a review, even if it is informational,
then I'd be happy to volunteer if no one else
has the time. I worked on VR based VPNs
at Crescent Networks (in 2001-2002) and also
worked with Joe Laria (one of the MIB co-authors)
while at Crescent. (The co-authors mention me in
the Acknowledgement section because I commented on
a very early version of the MIB).

Thanks,
  -Joan
