Iljitsch; "Transport multihoming" is a wrong terminology. As long as multihoming is solved on end systems, it is irrelevent whether it is solved by transport or application layer. The separation between the transport and application layers is an end system local issue and invisible from the network. See my expired draft (available in ML log) for further explanation.
