I did stress in my presentation to the wg that slide 3 was misleading in a
number of ways.
There may be multiple parties to the communication, and they may be
simultaneous or spread over time. The "site exit" router may not know
its role with respect to a particular host in some environments.
Also, Erik Nordmark pointed out that there may be more than one site exit
router in the path.
My point was that while the diagram assisted with describing the space,
it was a diagram that included some assumptions that are not going
to hold in all cases.
