I mentioned in the meeting earlier that LISP (at least LISP version 3) is very very similar to our proposal to defend against DDoS attacks. The paper is here (should be in CCR this month):

I firmly believe that we have the opportinity to kill two birds with one stone here. But you do need to be very careful about the Location/ID mapping part to avoid that being vulnerable to attack.
