Since both the base LISP protocol and the ALT mapping system are in the engineering and deployment phase, the purpose of this BOF is to form a working group whose charter (see below) will be to complete any remaining engineering work on the LISP base protocol [1] and the LISP+ALT system [2], as well as any functionality required for LISP Interworking [4]. Finally, the working group will also track the status of LISP implementations (such as [3]) as well as investigation of alternate mapping systems (including [5]).
