Well, this has a few problems.

If there is no good v6 support, it's very likely that the closest 6to4 
relay is also far away, thus causing extra RTT and instability.

And in many areas you _do_ get v6 -- via a tunnel or whatever -- and it 
seems to be preferred to 6to4 (I'd agree, but only to a degree).

So a rule of thumb "bad ipv6 connectivity or none at all -- use 6to4"  
doesn't probably hold.
