Not quite. My point is more that since the (so far revenue-free) market
already seems to want both solutions, I don't see that a decision is needed.

Well, I think there is a lot of confusion in that space.
We have a number of early adopters who are using both techniques.
However, the number of 6to4 relays and tunnel brokers on the planet is still very small,
and the traffic is marginal. I think it is still early in this process.
IMHO, the jury is still out for many ISPs who would like to offer some kind of sparse,
commercial IPv6 service without deploying a full scale native infrastructure.
So I think it is still pertinent for the IETF to have an opinion on the matter
and to recommend one approach versus the other, or maybe both if it can be proven
that there are technical reasons to do so.
