I'd seriously suggest you don't. The incumbents in the UK have come up with this as a "great idea", which then will make it much harder for ITSP players to get real number allocations, and thus to offer anything competing with geographic numbers. Oh, and, of course, this neatly allows them to charge differently, and settle differently, for connections to those numbers. If you must, use a non-geographic area code that the incumbents have too much to lose if they want to frig with it.
