I am using emacs from bzr:

"GNU Emacs 23.1.91.1 (i386-pc-freebsd8.0, GTK+ Version 2.18.5)
 of 2010-01-15 on oslo.ath.cx"

You are right. This function has been removed on September 19, 2009.

Thanks.
