Sending e-mail with wl is becoming less and less stable on my machine. Lately, about every 1/3 messages I try to send, starttls hangs up after successfully delivering the message. I can log into Gmail and see that the message was in fact sent, but wl never gets confirmation of that so it hangs indefinitely. I can get control back by C-g -- then I have a stray draft with the message headers but no content. And the starttls process stays open.
Is there any way to tune this? I could deal with it when it was happening maybe one in 100 messages, but it's much worse than that now.
Thanks,
James
