Open new windows, mouse pointer movement

Hello,

if wl opens a new window the mouse pointer jumps to the upper right corner
of the new window. Some folks might like this feature, I don't ;). So, how
can I switch it off? I'm using 2.15.9 at the moment, 2.15.7 works as
(I ;-) expected it to work.
