elmo-cache-expire-by-size
The existing description is:
The command deletes cache files to the specified size by the order of last accessed time.
If I understand correctly what this command does, it would be more
accurate to say:
The command repeatedly deletes the least-recently used cache files
until the cache occupies the specified number of kilobytes on
disk.
First, is that accurate?
If so, the command name is misleading. It gives the impression that
which files are deleted is determined by the size of the files.
Actually, I think using the word “expire” here is also misleading,
since it is already a term of art when applied to messages. I'd
rather see this command called
elmo-cache-flush-to-size
or
elmo-cache-reduce-to-size
