At work I have Windows7 + Emacs 24.1 + Wanderlust -- connecting to TLS
secured IMAP servers (e.g. Gmail) did not work until kzhr's patch
commit 6e65f94f6f1055a586ac059c9e00e53a6fdf8a78
<https://github.com/wanderlust/wanderlust/commit/6e65f94f6f1055a586ac059c9e00e53a6fdf8a78>
With this patch in place I downloaded the Win32 GnuTLS Package and
copied the DLLs in its bin/ directory to the path where Emacs is
installed.
What I did not get to work is sending messages via Google with the
following configuration:
,----
| ("From: David Maus <maus.david@gmail.com>"
| (wl-smtp-posting-server . "mail.gmail.com")
| (wl-envelope-from . "maus.david@gmail.com")
| (wl-smtp-posting-port . 587)
| (wl-smtp-authenticate-type . "plain")
| (wl-smtp-posting-user . "maus.david")
| (wl-smtp-posting-server . "smtp.gmail.com")
| (wl-local-domain . "gmail.com")
| ("Fcc" . "%Inbox:\"maus.david@gmail.com\"/clear@imap.gmail.com:993!")
| (wl-smtp-connection-type . 'starttls))
