Hmm..

this is one of....

- Routing, because it decides where packets go
- Internet, because it's down at the wire level
- Sub-IP, because it deals with "resilience" stuff
- Ops, because it is some kind of operational practice

so who wants to read about Extreme's Ethernet resilience idea, and tell the 
RFC Editor whether it's publishable or not?
