IESG:

The RFC Editor has submitted a revision of draft-rfc-editor-rfc2223bis to the 
Internet Draft folks today (see attached msg).

As you may recall, the general consensus of the IESG and the RFC Editor
is that it would be appropriate to publish this document as a BCP.  We
would like the IESG to initiate a Last Call once the new version has
been posted by the I-D Administrator.
