RE: "problem" -- no common goal to create a standard



I should have used a better subject line for the first 
problem (assuming it is better to have a separate thread
for each topic.

So this one is to report a problem that I see (we discussed
it a bit during fab call yday) that there are just far too 
many participants that do not come for a common goal,
namely to work towards one single standard solution for
a single problem.

Instead to many come to just get their own technology 
approved (if not as the single solution, than as one of
the competing) solutions. Then let the market decide.

In my view that is not the task of a stds body.
