Re: Open IAB meeting during IETF 57 working sessions

Running my eye down the agenda as it is currently posted,
checking for sessions that have less-than-seven scheduled
meetings (assuming there are max 7 rooms available) I see:

Monday: (this is the current proposal)
1500-1530 Break (Refreshments provided) - 1530-1730 Afternoon Sessions II
APP simple SIP for Instant Mess. and Pres. Lever Extensions WG
INT eap Extensible Authentication Protocol WG
INT ip-dvb IP over MPEG-2/DVB Transport BOF
OPS dnsop Domain Name Server Operations WG
TSV nsis Next Steps in Signaling WG
TSV rmt Reliable Multicast Transport WG

1930-2200 Evening Sessions
INT ipv6 IP Version 6 WG
OPS grow Global Routing Operations WG
OPS	rmonmib Remote Network Monitoring WG
RTG mlm Multicast Last Mile BOF
SEC	msec Multicast Security WG
TSV	sipping Session Initiation Proposal Investigation WG

Wednesday:
1530-1730 Afternoon Sessions II
APP	crisp Cross Registry Information Service Protocol WG
OPS v6ops IPv6 Operations WG
RTG	manet Mobile Ad-hoc Networks WG
SEC inch Extended Incident Handling WG
TSV	pwe3 Pseudo Wire Emulation Edge to Edge WG
TSV	speechsc Speech Services Control WG
Thursday:
0900-1130 Morning Sessions
APP geopriv Geographic Location/Privacy WG
INT ipv6 IP Version 6 WG OPS psamp Packet Sampling WG
RTG idr Inter-Domain Routing WG
SEC pkix Public-Key Infrastructure (X.509) WG
TSV mmusic Multiparty Multimedia Session Control WG
Friday:
0900-1130 Morning Sessions
INT	dna Detecting Network Attachment BOF
OPS capwap Control And Provisioning of Wireless Access Points BOF
TSV tsvwg Transport Area Working Group

I think the options are: leave it as proposed (and take out a chunk
of DNS-operations-savvy folk), or put it on Friday AM and take
out the Transport area.

Other people have suggestions/theories?

Leslie.

If you have any suggestion where to move it, I will appreciate it.
In all openings, the iab meeting will conflict with something
(it's what I can see from my side).

yup, and you're running out of meeting rooms, so most of your
remaining options are swaps.

nothing leaps to the eye. suggestions from other folk reading this?
