RE: State of XCON charter



Your comment on wiretapping, Harald, will be addressed in a revision, as
will the suggestion from Ran Canetti that MSEC be mentioned in the charter
as a source of group security mechanisms. I don't think these changes will
be incorporated before tomorrow morning, though.

However, if we could take some time in the telechat to speak about this last
issue - the Dave & Marshall comments - that would be really helpful for me
and the BoF chairs, anyway. I'm really not sure what sort of text to suggest
adding to the charter that would preserve the intended applicability (which
really is a little bit broader than SIP) while not infringing on the turf of
XMPP.

Boy, I didn't think that agreeing to help out with XCON while Allison is
away would turn out like this. :)
