Request for Assignment of RFC Number for CCM Informational RFC

Dear IESG members,

This mail requests assignment of an RFC number for the "Counter with
CBC-MAC (CCM)" Internet Draft.

> The IESG has approved the Internet-Draft 'Counter with CBC-MAC (CCM)' 
> <draft-housley-ccm-mode-02.txt> as an Informational RFC. This has been 
> reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an IETF Working Group. 

The CCM Informational RFC  is currently in the RFC editor's queue, and is
a dependency of the IEEE 802.11i Draft Standard for MAC Security
Enhancements. The IEEE 802.11i draft is currently in recirculation
(equivalent of working group last call), with comment resolution underway.
Several of the comments to be resolved require providing the actual IETF 
RFC reference
for this document.
