Re: IESG and the ASRG

Folks,

The RFC Editor received the same exact message that IESG did from ASRG
co-chair Yakov Shafranovich.  Our reaction to him was, "Yes!  This is
great news."  (I.e., soliciting the input of the ASRG on spam-related
issues.)

We do not intend to steal the IESG's thunder with regards to this
subject, but the RFC Editor is more than happy to help the IESG in
filtering review of spam documents and interacting with the ASRG folk.

Obviously, if the IESG has concerns about spam documents and ASRG
participation, please let us know.
