Feel free to sign my name, too -- but a note from the IESG, or Harald 
for the IESG, seems indicated.  He just posted another note to 'pint' 
advertising something off-topic for that wg.

I thought that the IESG had issued a policy on conference announcements 
and the like -- and that they weren't permitted.  Regardless, I'm of 
the opinion that posting from another address after being told by the 
chair not to is prima facie grounds for suspending his posting 
privileges for a month.
