The IESG has approved following document:

This document is the product of the Remote Network Monitoring Working Group.


The IESG contact persons are Bert Wijnen and Randy Bush.

Technical Summary

  This document defines the procedures for IANA to administer and
  maintain the Object Identifier (OID) tree under the rmon root. This
  memo also documents the currently assigned values. 

Working Group Summary
 
  The Working Group (chair) has long maintained this registry.
  The WG now has consensus to transfer the registry to IANA.
 
Protocol Quality
 
  This document has been reviewed for the IESG by Randy Bush and 
  Bert Wijnen
