What Can We Return to the Earth? Japanese Pollution Experiences

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Professor Fujikura served as Dean of Law at Doshisha University in Japan prior to teaching law at both the University of Tokyo and Waseda University. Considered a pre-eminent scholar on law and the environment in Japan, he has been honoured with visiting professorships at Harvard, Berkeley, Duke, Michigan and NYU. His fields of academic expertise also include comparative law, with particualr emphasis on the contrasts between the Japanese and American legal systems. Amherst College awarded Professor Fujikura an Honorary Degree in 1991 in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements.
