You can bump the LMP-WDM count up to 9.  I just don't see any techical
advantages to NTIP and the implementation path (based on the assumption
that many folks will implement LMP) is easier with the LMP-WDM solution.

And to echo everyone else's sentiment: Two protocols be bad.
