My initial reaction is that the information they ask for is way too
detailed. With our 100+ MIB modules alone, we would need a secretary
to fill all these forms out. In addition, there are questions that
are not really easy to answer (like the FCAPS classification).
I am also wondering where this information is supposed to go. Will
the collected database be publically accessible to everyone? Will
it be maintained (who does that?) or is this just going to be a
snapshot taken excatly once?
[Perhaps a better approach would be to setup a wiki so that people who
care can input data directly and others can edit as they see fit. Such
a community approach seems to work well in other areas.]
