Hi Andrew,

As one of the folks who would like a term other than PDP, I agree with 
your concern that a single name for that functionality would be good.  
Unfortunately 'Policy Consumer' doesn't seem to resonate with people.  
Do you have a suggestion for a name that would replace PDP yet not 
dictate the function as PDP currently suggests?  (Please note that I 
have no problem with Policy Decision Point as a name, but I do dislike 
explaining to each newcomer that it is not where decisions are made in 
a non-outsourcing scenario.)

Here's another term that could be used to replace both PDP and Policy 
Consumer: Policy Processor.
