But the most important argument for us is "RA is there anyway, why undergo the effort to set up yet another service?". I want to point out that we *are* an operator -- but we have a different customer structure than large-scale DSL or cable operators, where a centralized DHCP is well-established in IPv4 land. Everbody's network varies, and we take some offense at attempts from folks to stuff DHCP down our throats.
