wl-summary-jump-to-parent-message

I'm also curious about wl-summary-jump-to-parent-message.  I notice that
if it doesn't find the parent in the current folder, it sometimes asks
me if I want to check an nntp server (presumably when the message was
cross-posted there)... and if I say `y' it finds the message... really
quickly!

My question: is there any way to get it to similarly look for the parent
in a different mail folder?
